Winter walk in the natural park Ala-Archa

Ala-Archa is a national natural park, area  is a specially popular and loved by many climbers and tourists.It’s located 40km from the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Here everyone will choose for themselves rest for the soul – whether it is just walking in the fresh air, or sports trips. All the way goes along the path and opens before itself the wonderful world of flora and fauna. There is a wide variety of herbs, flowers, bushes and firs. If you are lucky, you can see such representatives of the fauna as mountain goats, pikas, squirrels. Waterfalls and rivers along the ascent path deserve special attention; in warm weather, they give freshness and coolness; during the cold, they freeze, forming ice cascades, allowing sportsmen of any level of physical training  to practice well. The towering peaks of such famous peaks as the Korona, Box, Teke-Tor, Ratseka, delight the eye. All of this doesn’t allow to stay indifferent nature lovers!

To the river Shartkaratma (ice climbing):

1 day:   8:00 Meeting in the Bishkek city

8:00 – 10:30 Transfer from Bishkek to the Ala-Archa gorge.

10: 30-12: 00 Ascent to the river Shartkaratma from the alpine camp (2100m)

12: 00-16: 00 Insurance organization, ice climbing. Lunch.

16: 00-17: 30 Descent to the alpine camp

17: 30-19: 00 Return to the Bishkek

To the Ratseka station:

1 day:   8:00 Meeting in the Bishkek city

8:00 – 9:30 Transfer from Bishkek to the Ala-Archa gorge.

9: 30-13: 30 Ascent from the alpine camp (2100m) to the Ratseka station (3300m). Snacks during the ascent, depending on how well the participants feel.

13: 30-14: 30 Lunch, rest.

14: 30-16: 30 Descent to the alpine camp.

16: 30-18: 00 Return to the Bishkek.
