Lenin Peak (7134m) (Yukhina (5105m); Razdel’naya (6148m))

   Lenin Peak is a seventhousander peak and located on the border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Often climbers begin their high-altitude experience with it. It is a snow-ice massif, towering above the circus of the Leninsky glacier for more than 3000m; its slopes steepness reaches of 45 – 55 degrees and has deep cracks. Also, avalanches and ice falls are an increased danger, which is a very frequent phenomenon in this area.

Climbing is associated with big risks, so you need to be prepared physically and psychologically.

 1. Duration of the tour: Lenin peak – 21 days; Razdel’naya peak – 16 days; Yukhina peak – 8 days.

 2. Season: July-August

 3. Level of difficulty: Lenin peak -8/10, Razdel’naya peak -7/10, Yukhina peak – 5/10

 4. Number of persons: 1-3 (with one guide)

 5. Insurance: necessary

 6. Documents: a border pass (it must be issued no later than 2 months before the start of the program)

 7. Accommodation: There are high-altitude camps under the Lenin peak: the base camp is located at an altitude of 3700m, the camp 1 is at an altitude of 4200m. For accommodation in the high-altitude camps, you will need to buy a package or book places for tents; above (the camp 2 (5300m) and the camp 3 (6100m)) – self-tenting (decided with a guide).

 8. Nutrition: optional – self-catering or use the services of a cook (available only in the base camp and in the camp 1, above – self-catering, decided with a guide)

 9. Program by day: (may be adjusted depending on the level of physical training and qualifications):

1 day: Arrival in the Bishkek, flight to the Osh (or directly flight to the Osh), accommodation in a hotel / guest house

2 day: Transfer from Osh to Achik-Tash base camp (3700m) – 280 km, accommodation in a camp

3 day: Acclimatization hiking to the Travelers’ Pass (4200m)

4 day: Acclimatization hiking to Petrovsky peak (4600m)

5 day: Ascent to the camp 1

6 day: Ascent to the Yukhina peak (overnight stay)

7 day: Descent to the camp 1, then – to the base camp

8 day: – If the program is for Yuhina peak, then transfer to Osh and completion of the program;

– If not-rest day

9 day: Rest day, walking to the lakes

10 day: Ascent to the camp 1

11day: Ascent to the Home peak

12-14 days: Ascent to the camp 2 (6400m), then – to the camp 3 and to the Razdel’naya peak

-If the program is for Razdel’naya peak, then 15-16 days: descent to the base camp, transfer to Osh, the end of the program

-If the program is for Lenin peak, then 15-18 days: ascent to the Lenin peak

18-21 days: descent to the base camp, transfer to Osh, the end of the program
