“Seliverstov’s group (Usatyh, Moroz, Seliverstov) climbed to 6200m. of the Communism peak. Danichkin’s group (Usmanov, Krasovsky, Alipov, Danichkin) – at 5200m. of the Korzhenevskaya peak. All the rest is  in the base camp.”

“13.50 – Greetings for everybody from the top of the peak of Communism !!! Ascended: Danichkin, Erokhin, Usmanov, Filinov, Moroz, Cherkasov. Vorobyov, Seliverstov – at 7000m., they are waiting for climbers from the top. Usatyh, Alipov and Krasovsky descend to the BC.”

“Today Danichichkin’s group tried to storm the summit, but turned around because of strong wind. Now – in the storm camp. The Seliverstov’s group went up to 6920m. Alipov and Krasovsky climbed into the cave at 6200m. Akimov went down to the base camp.”

“Danichkin’s group (4 people) is in a cave (6200m.), Seliverstov’s group (5 people) goes up to the Camp2 (5900m.). Akimov’s group (3 people) is in the Camp1 (5000m.), Maltsev is in the base camp.”

“The first group under the leadership of Danichkin reached a plateau and setup a camp at 5900m. Seliverstov’s group is in the Camp1. Akimov’s group is in the base camp.”

26. 01. 2020 Message from Seliverstov Sergey:

“All groups went down to the base camp and rested. One group went up today. 27 ropes were hanged. There are 2 ropes left to the “roof “(plateau). Everything is fine!”

“We waited out for the bad weather in a cave yesterday. Today hung 5 ropes. Total: 25 ropes.”

“We hung 5 ropes also. The weather goes bad.”

“We dug a cave at the beginning of the route (4950 m.) and moved the Camp1 there, hung also 3 ropes.”

“At this moment we hung 12 ropes. The 11th and 12th ropes – ice, 85°- 90°. The main problem is that we can’t setup a tent – there are no areas. For processing we have to go out from the Camp1. In BC -25-, -27℃ in the mornings. Everything is OK!”

“In these days we setup work in the Base camp, setup the Camp1 on a glacier (4700 m.), threw the necessary equipment for work. Today we processed 6 ropes. Everything is ok!”
